"Hello, Bentley? I'm a very wealthy librarian and would like to order a Flying Spur in light tan/beige. Why are you laughing? Yes, I'll hold."

Since when can librarians afford Bentleys?

seems to be the common choice. I have a feeling these people would rather buy something on a dealer lot rather than order.
I have a neighbor who owns a white bentley and a white wrangler unlimited sahara with chrome wheels.
Just down the street is another neighbor with a Black Mercedes G wagon, Black escalade and a black BMW X5 if I'm remembering correctly

I think it's the opposite. Normal American car buys want something off the lot, Bentley buyers want a custom car.
